Joint enterprise law being questioned

Many of the Summer's rioters were prosecuted under The Joint Enterprise law, which allows people to be convicted of serious offences even if they took no direct part in a crime. Critics say it has led to a flood of miscarriage of justice cases and the number of those cases continues to increase.
